Denise Kaigler Stepping Down

IGN is reporting that Denise Kaigler is stepping down as Nintendo’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs citing travel and family as the main reasons.  Her itense travel schedule was interfering with her ability to balance work and family.  I completely understand issues like this and always say family comes first.

I never had the ability to interact with her personally during my talks with Nintendo, but have read a lot of what she had to say.  If nothing else, Nintendo is losing one of those familiar faces and that’s never a good thing.

I wish Denise the best of luck going forward.
