Miyamoto Awarded For a Lifetime Of Work
What’s the best way to show one of the most creative men on the planet some respect? Give him a Lifetime Achievement award. That’s exactly what happened to Shigeru Miyamoto during the 13th Annual Japan Media Arts Festival Awards. The man behind the many characters of Nintendo including Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Wario and Pikmin didn’t even obtain a college degree, but he’s considered the father of the modern video game and is getting awards for his life of work. He’s not done yet, either.
