Christmas Wishes

Howdy folks.  It’s Christmas time in 2009.  I just wanted to take a second and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from the Nintendo Okie staff.  We’ll be putting up some good stuff today and tomorrow.  We’ve got Shelby’s most recent edition of Con-soul Searching now live where he talks up peripherals a bit.  We’ll be posting a couple new things tomorrow like Tony’s Retro Redux about the NES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade and reviews for the NERF Sports Pack and Squeeballs Party.

There won’t be any news posted tomorrow on Christmas Day because we’ll all be spending it with our families, but you’ll have those articles to look forward to.  Due to some technical issues we weren’t able to put up Sounds of the Game this week.  We’re working on those bugs and we’ll get it posted up as quick as we can, even if it is a day after Christmas or so.  I’m really sorry and I hope you guys can forgive us.  [=^)

Anyway, I just thought I’d ask you all what you were expecting to get under your Christmas tree this year.  My stuff, while video game related, is in relation to another console.  I was given an Xbox 360 for Christmas this year and for the first time I own two systems from the current generation.  I’ve been strictly a Nintendo owner since I started.  I also purchased Shadow Complex and Geometry Wars 2 for the system last night.  I’m not going to talk too much about that because we’re a Nintendo related website, for now.

What are some of the things you’re hoping to get this Christmas that are video game related.  My six year old son is getting some Nintendo related clothing and some Mushroom Kingdom inhabitants, in action figure form.  I would really like to have the new Nyko Charge Base IC, personally as I like having my Wii Remotes always ready to go and this new charge base means you don’t have to take the controllers out of the jackets.

What about you guys?  What are you looking to get this year?
