NBA Jam Making a Return?
This is still a rumor as I’ve not heard the concrete evidence for this yet, but apparently EA has picked up the rights to the NBA Jam franchise and will be bringing it back as a Wii exclusive. This bit of news was heard on ESPN of all places and there are few details available.
- Jam creator Mark Turmell has been hired by EA to work on this new version
- EA Vancouver is the study handling development
- there are other original Jam developers on-board as well
Other than that we don’t know much about this return of one of the best arcade basketball experiences ever created. I’ll admit growing up though that my arcade basketball preference was Arch Rivals.
