Metroid Creator to Speak at GDC
The Game Developer’s Conference is being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco during the week of March 9th – 13th. There have been a number of speakers announced in the last few weeks and today it was announced that Metroid Creator Yoshio Sakamoto will be speaking about his 30+ years in game design. His talk will cover everything from Metroid to WarioWare.
Mr. Sakamoto has been in game design for 30 years beginning at Nintendo in 1982. He’s been well known as a designer for both the core and the rising casual audience and has been successful in both worlds of game design.
Other speakers that will be attending are Peter Molyneux, Tim Schafer, Motomu Toriyama, and Sid Meier.
