Nintendo Okie

Not an official title, as of yet.  If you listened to the podcast this week then you know we’re starting a new segment on the show that we want you to be involved in.  It’s an extension of the Retro Redux that has been featured on the site, usually on Friday’s and will be returning very soon.  We thought it would be a good discussion starter for the show and a good way to have you all, the readers/listeners, interact with us. 

Essentially what we’ll be doing, like a number of other sites with Game Club or their variation on that them, is playing through a game and then discussing it on the show.  We want to involve you as well so we want you to play through the game with us and send in your comments/thoughts on the game.  Our first crack at the new segment will be coming up on this week’s episode of the Nintendo Okie Podcast and we’ll be playing Excite Bike 64 for the Nintendo 64.  So dig out those old consoles and brush the dust off the cartridge and enjoy some motocross action with us. 

If you want to have your comments featured on the show they need to be emailed to us, or posted on the forums under the Nintendo Okie Podcast thread.  We’re also looking for a permenant name for the segment so if you have any suggestions for that feel free to leave those with us as well.  My suggestion is Audio Retro Redux.  On the podcast Shelby gave us his idea for the segment, Nintendelorean.
