Resident Evil Coming More Often

The question is how often will it come to Wii.  This information comes from a Japanese report on Capcom through Andriasang.com.

Capcom is planning to release more Resident Evil titles with three to four titles per year coming out.  This is more than their current rate of two titles per fiscal year.  They’re going to be shipping some of the development duties to studios in the United States and Europe, and hope that by doing so development time will be cut from four years to a slightly shorter two to three years.  All of this is being done to help falling sales that have been occuring recently.

So, are you ready?  How many of you would be interested in that many Resident Evil titles per year?  How many and what style do you think Nintendo platforms will get?  Resident Evil 5 skipped Wii despite Resident Evil 4 being a very popular seller on the GameCube and the Wii respectively.

Shelby better hope his save files don’t disappear now or he’ll have a lot of work ahead of him.
