Nintendo Dropping the Price of Their Portable Systems
If you’re in the market for a new handheld and you don’t want to wait until the 3DS launches, then now is the perfect time to check them out. Nintendo has announced they’re dropping the prices on their Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL handhelds.
The DSi will drop to $149.99 and the DSi XL will drop to $169.99. The DS Lite will remain at $129.99.
“We know shoppers want to get the maximum value out of every dollar they spend,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Our new Nintendo DSi prices make it easier than ever for consumers to access the tremendous variety of games, applications and social tools on the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL systems.”
Both of these systems have access to the DSi Shop Channel where you can download more than 200 exclusive games and applications. The DSi XL also comes bundled with a number of software titles pre-loaded including Brain Age™ Express: Math, Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Flipnote Studio™, Photo Clock and the Nintendo DSi Browser.
