Kirby’s Epic Yarn spins a tale in February

Good news Nintendo fans! 2010′s most charming game is coming to Europe next February. No idea why there was a delay in the game’s release but Nintendo of Europe have announced it will be out on the 25th February. Definately worth making a note of on your calendar, the game scored a perfect 5/5 here on Nintendo-Okie!

Donkey Kong fans buy DKCR with bananas

Yep, you read that right. The first 20 people who turned up at 3 GAME and Gamestation stores across the UK on Friday with a bunch of bananas recieved a free copy of Donkey Kong Country Returns! The gorilla suits were optional but it has been snowing a lot here in the last few days so they were for warmth too!

Galaxy 2 is the Gamesmaster of 2010

Gamesmaster has voted Super Mario Galaxy 2 as the game of the year beating the likes of Call of Duty and Assassain’s Creed to the top spot. “The old man proves he’s still got it,” says Gamesmaster. “For sheer game design genius, Shiggy’s most glorious creation is still the plumber to beat. Long live the birthday boy, King Mario”.

NintendoTV celebrates DK

NintendoTV, now available on your Nintendo Channel, has gone bananas this week! (bad pun sorry!). Featuring everyone’s favourite Kong, they take a look at Donkey Kong Country Returns and also look back at his past exploits.

Cave Story out this month

Developer of DSiWare title Cave Story, Nicalis, have announced that the game will be released on the platform this month for 1,000 Points. More details on a release date when we get it!
