Euro News Round-Up: Week Ending 11/12
Yep, it’s coming up to Christmas fast, and the games industry is closing down to get some well earned rest until the New Year rolls around. That means we don’t have a lot to share with you this week, one story in fact is all that happened. In other news, developers have started rolling out 3DS screens, the new Resident Evil ones are worth a look, which should mean that a 3DS release date announcement is imminent. If I had to guess, I would say we should find out the release day sometime around New Year. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
Christmas Crossing Gift
For those of you still playing Animal Crossing on Wii, until the 12th December you can get yourselves a Snowman style vanity mirror for your house. Be quick though, this runs out tomorrow!

And finally…
Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto this week revealed that he originally wanted Donkey Kong to be a sidescrolling game as opposed to the static view given by the arcade machine. Apparently the limiting factor was the circuit-board on the arcade box. As a result we got a superb arcade game which launched Mario’s and DK’s respective careers!
