Draw Something On Your TV
No, kids, don’t do that. On second thought, that’s a really bad headline. Actually, CBS has commissioned a pilot for a new TV show based on Draw Something, the popular iOS game from Zynga and OMGPop. I’m of two minds about this announcement.
The first, at this point I don’t want to have anything to do with Draw Something. It was fun for about a week and then it was filled with repeated words and ads disguised as drawings. Also, I was playing it on an iPod which wasn’t really that much fun.
On the other hand the TV show is basically a revival of the old game show Win, Lose, or Draw, which I really loved watching as a kid. I’m not really sure why I loved watching celebrities and random people scribble incoherently on a sketch pad, but I loved it. This new show could basically be the same thing. You know what? I’m probably going to watch it anyway.
