Nintendo Okie

If there has been one subject more controversial on this site than my feelings about ExciteBike, it would have to be the comments I had about Monster Hunter soon after starting Nintendo Okie.  I got my hands on the demo of Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii and posted about not liking the demo all that much.  After getting my hands on the full retail game, my thoughts about the franchise turned around 180 degrees.  I’m excited about the Monster Hunter franchise now.

North American fans of the series have been waiting for a while about news of the next iteration to hit the States.  We’ve heard it probably won’t be a North American release of Monster Hunter 3G, but I would wager to guess that Monster Hunter 4 will see some sort of release here.  Capcom’s Christian Svensson assures fans that news will be coming before the end of this year.

Western MH fans should have some sort of information before the end of this calendar year. I can’t say more than that unfortuntaely though I would love to.

I can only imagine it would be news of Monster Hunter 4.  The game will be hitting Japan in the Spring of next year and I would expect a North American 3DS release to follow soon.   If not that then perhaps some adaptation of the game for Wii U.  It would be a great selling point for the platform in Japan and I would imagine there would be plenty of fans here that would be interested in an HD version of the series.
