There could be another high profile title coming to Wii U early next year. Crytek producer Mike Read talked to CVG recently and during the conversation the idea of Crysis 3 coming to Wii U was discussed.

“I wouldn’t say there’s no chance. I mean the Wii U still doesn’t have any kind of release [date] attached to it at this point. Who knows what the future will bring with it. I can definitely say that we are working with Nintendo, and that’s about all I can say on that front.”

Does this mean once the Wii U is given an official release date we’ll hear this game will be coming to the system? It seems weird that he’s dancing around the topic when the game isn’t even scheduled to come out until next year, well beyond the launch of Wii U. They’re working with Nintendo. Has Nintendo asked them not to announce the game because the system doesn’t have a release date? Is the game not coming to Wii U? We will find out soon enough.
