Mario is not the only one out to get a lot of coins later this month.  On the latest episode of the Nintendo Okie Podcast we talked about the possibility of registering multiple copies of New Super Mario Bros. 2.  Club Nintendo fans rejoice. I spoke with my reps at Nintendo today and they confirmed through Club Nintendo that you’ll be able to register both they physical retail game and the digital copy of New Super Mario Bros. 2 when it releases on August 19th.

If you remember you’ll earn double the number of coins for purchasing the digital copy of the game through the eShop for a total of 100 coins and the retail copy will be worth 50. That’s an extra 150 Club Nintendo coins if you buy both copies of the game. Does this make anyone interested in buying two copies of the game now?
