Madden NFL 13 Confirmed For Wii U
Madden has come out on Nintendo platforms every year since the beginning, so it comes as no surprise that it will also be hitting the company’s new platform later this year. EA Sports confirmed today that the football franchise will be hitting Wii U as well as the Xbox 360 and the PS3 later this year. As was expected, the touchscreen will be used to manage all of your pre-snap interactions such as play calling, route adjustments and personnel changes.
All of the features available for other platforms will be available as well. The Connected Career mode lets you build up a persistent player or coach and follow them throughout a career. All of the visuals will be in high definition. The game will also be returning to the more realistic visual style of the other consoles after spending a few years with more stylized player characters.
As with all Wii U games there is no firm launch date at the moment.
