Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate Delayed
Konami had hoped to get the newest 3DS Castlevania game out onto store shelves later this year. Today the company announced they will be delaying the game, for unspecified reasons, until sometime in 2013. The game, which stars Trevor Belmont, saw mixed reaction at E3. I’m interested in checking it out. I love sidescrolling Castlevania games. Looks like my vampire and ghost fix will be filled in 2013.

I’m glad to hear this if they need more time to polish it up. I would rather not have a broken game.
This will be worth the wait.
I just received a press release from Konami about this delay. The reason that they’re pushing it back is:
“It’s been two years since the enormous success of Castlevania Lords of Shadow, and with this next installment, we want to take the necessary time needed to give fans a handheld title unlike any other.”
That’s according to Dave Cox, the game’s producer.
See I said it will be worth the wait and they just confirmed that they are going to make sure of it. I picked up Lord of Shadow recently but haven’t started it yet.
