We don’t have to wait until E3 to get details on what Microsoft will be doing for the next generation of consoles. Their next system will join Nintendo’s already released Wii U and Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 later this year. Microsoft today announced they’ll be unveiling the system at an event called “A New Generation Revealed” on May 21st.
Some of the details we’re hoping to see handled are what the new system and controller will look like, will the system actually require an always on connection, and when can people get their hands on the system.
The event will be broadcast live beginning at 1:00 pm EST and can be seen through Xbox.com, Xbox Live and Spike TV (in the US and Canada).
