Wow! Great job with the Metroid week. I loved it! I’m a little disappointed you didn’t mention the Crystal Flash ability in Super Metroid but I guess it technically wouldn’t fit in any of the categories. That was one of my favorite little tricks in Super Metroid. Looked awesome when you did it. Anyway great work this week and I guess we will be enjoying Other M at the same time next week
We probably could have filled up two weeks full of Metroid content. Shelby knows those games inside and out. I’ll be doing a write up on Monday from a Metroid newcomer’s perspective. I’ve never played any of the games until very recently.
I’m pretty sure we’ll all be sitting around Tuesday night going through Samus’ adventure together. Shelby will be handling the review of the game for us, but we’ll all have stuff to say about it on next week’s podcast.
The Crystal Flash is awesome and I thought about including it but, like you said, I couldn’t quite make it fit. There is a whole list of stuff that I wanted to write about but I had to scale things back so I could actually have enough time to write everything on time. Glad you enjoyed it.
