Resident Evil Restaurant “Comig Soon”
No. I didn’t misspell the word, Capcom did. That’s right. Capcom got the spelling on the word “coming” wrong for the announcement of their upcoming Resident Evil themed restaurant. This new eating establishment will be open in Shibuya for exactly one year. It will feature limited items and dance performances from Dance Team S.T.A.R.S. Angelique.
The restaurant actually sounds pretty cool. The thing that still gets me is just how often Capcom misspells words on their game cases, announcements and soundtrack covers. It’s become an epidemic that rivals the size of the T-virus outbreak.
Oh, Fun With Logos
What do you do when you’re bored on a Thursday night and there’s no news to actually speak of? You make funny things in Photoshop to pass the time. This one is for you, Shelby. The whole post is inspired by our love of Capcom and their constant misspelling of things. If you can’t have a little fun during a slow news period when can you have fun? [=^) There’s plenty more fun after the break.
Resident Evil 6 Sooner Than Expected
Some new details and a new trailer for Resident Evil 6 have fallen off the Capcpom wagon. If you thought the story looked crazy from the first trailer, wait till you see this one; Wesker has a son, Ada is still half evil or something, Sherry was that blonde girl the whole time. Best part, this one ends like I expected the initial trailer too with Chris and Leon pointing guns at each other. What I found odd is that Capcpom has bumped up the release date from November 20th to October 2nd. Color me surprised since I didn’t think the game would actually make the November 20th date.
Why Do You Hate Me, April 1st?
I hate April 1st. There’s always so much fake news that I want to be real. The last couple years I have avoided all contact with the internet when the time has come. Sadly, this means the pains come a day later and this year was no exception. Over at Rockman Unity (think Capcpom-Unity except in Japan) plans were announced for a three-part, J-pop group composed of girls from the Mega Man franchise; Roll from Classic Mega Man, Mayl from Battle Network, and Luna from Star Force. There first album, titled Transmission Of Your Heart, is scheduled to come out December 17th, 20XX; a date amalgam that should be familiar to Mega Man fans. The group’s first performance will be on the roof of the Capcpom offices where limited edition posters will be handed out. This all hinges on reality and so it’s all made up. How awesome would this be?!?! RIGHT?!?! Stupid Capcpom. Stupid April 1st. *grumble grumble*
