Nintendo Okie

I listen to a lot of Japanese music. A LOT. I try to spread to word about bands I like so this week I am going to introduce y’all to my favorite band, The Pillows (sometime it’s written without capital letters). The Pillows is a band of three permanent members (lead guitar, rhythm guitar and drums) and a rotating chair for bass guitar. The founding bassist left the band early on and was never officially replaced. It may seem weird but Japanese music is kind of quirky.

I originally learned about The Pillows as their music is used as the soundtrack for my favorite anime FLCL (pronounced Fooly Cooly).
