Things are still al quiet hear in Europe, as companies hold off their big announcements until Nintendo finally announce the 3DS launch line-up. Can only be a matter of days away surely? Anyway, here’s your short news round-up. Enjoy!

3DS eShop launching in May

Rumours have been circling the past few weeks that the 3DS eShop would launch in Europe alone first, and then elsewhere later. Well consider those rumours smashed. Nintendo have confirmed that a global firmware update will be released in May which will include both the eShop and Internet Browser. So there you have it, no eShop or Browser until May. Does that affect your purchasing decision on the 3DS?

Mario’s time on NintendoTV

This week saw the release of Mario Vs Donkey Kong 4 and Mario Sports Mix, and to celebrate, NintendoTV have gone all Mario! The latest episode features some exclusive gameplay footage so check it out!
