Ubisoft’s peace offering to Wii U owners for the delay of Rayman Legends will be available for download through the Wii U’s eShop this Thursday. This mode, Challenge Mode, will give you the ability to compete in daily and weekly challenges. One of those modes, Dragon Mode, will be exclusive to Wii U. When you load up this software you’ll see four different paintings that will take you to different challenges.
Ubisoft is hoping this will give Wii U owners something to keep them occupied until the actual release of the game in September. I’m going to be downloading it and checking it out. I wasn’t a big fan of Rayman Origins, but I enjoyed the demo of Rayman Legends I played before the launch of the Wii U. This is free and I’m actually hopeful it will get me more interested in the game.
What about you, folks? Will you be picking up this free “game” and are you looking forward to the release of Rayman Legends? I’m also interested in hearing from those of you out there that might find this as all the Rayman you need and if this might keep you from buying the full game when it finally hits stores.
