Teslagrad is one of those games that came out of nowhere on Wii U to surprise me. It’s a puzzle platformer that uses the power of magnetism and electricity to solve various puzzles. The art style for the game is, shall I say, adorable. The puzzles are inventive and clever. The game’s been available for a while now on Wii U. I’d encourage everyone to check it out.
If you own a Playstation system, however, you haven’t been able to enjoy the puzzle that is Teslagrad. That’s about to change. Rain Games, the developer, have announced that the game will be available for PS3 and PS4 beginning on April 14th. It’ll cost you a mere $14.99. If you’re more interested in a physical release you’ll have to wait a while longer. The publisher, Soedesco, is still working out release dates for the physical Playstation and Wii U releases. All three systems should expect those versions of the game to be out in the second quarter of the year.
Vita owners will have to wait a little while longer. In a blog post updated the US releases of the game the developer said that they’re still working on getting that version of the game running as smoothly as the console releases. It’s coming, but they have no firm release window to look forward to. It’s currently slated to come out “when it’s done”. As one member of the development team said on Twitter, “A delayed game is eventually good. A rushed game is bad forever.”
