For the longest time, fans of Japanese games and anime had to import all of there cross over games in order to play them. It seems like just yesterday I was importing games like Jump Super Stars on the DS and going over a friends house to play Battle Stadium D.O.N. on the Gamecube. Just a few years back we were struggling to get bigger Japanese games localized on Nintendo systems. I would have never imagined that a cross over game with all of these licenses would ever get localized. However after many of the events of 2011 and 2012 we started seeing publishers acknowledge that there’s a big demand for these types of experiences in the west.
Bandai Namco was one such publisher that took the risk and brought over Project X Zone for the 3DS. Apparently that risk payed off for them because the sequel Project X Zone 2 was just announced for a Fall 2015 release in Japan, North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle-East!
