Project X Zone Sequel Getting Global Release Fall 2015

For the longest time, fans of Japanese games and anime had to import all of there cross over games in order to play them. It seems like just yesterday I was importing games like Jump Super Stars on the DS and going over a friends house to play Battle Stadium D.O.N. on the Gamecube. Just a few years back we were struggling to get bigger Japanese games localized on Nintendo systems. I would have never imagined that a cross over game with all of these licenses would ever get localized. However after many of the events of 2011 and 2012 we started seeing publishers acknowledge that there’s a big demand for these types of experiences in the west.

Bandai Namco was one such publisher that took the risk and brought over Project X Zone for the 3DS. Apparently that risk payed off for them because the sequel Project X Zone 2 was just announced for a Fall 2015 release in Japan, North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle-East!

  1. I really dug the first one. I thought it dragged on a little longer than it should have, but overall it was a really good game. Great concept. They pulled the characters together in a fun way. It was good. I’ll play another one. I’m hoping they just tighten this one up a bit.
