Oculus Rift Delayed To 2016

Over the past year, gaming in Virtual Reality has seen a lot of coverage. Much of this is due to the Oculus Rift. To say the Oculus Rift is popular with the development community would be an understatement. At most gaming conventions these days, there’s at least one developer showing off how their game works on the VR Headset. Unfortunately though, if you were hoping to get one this year, I have bad news for you. Oculus Rift has officially been delayed to Q1 2016.

All is not lost though. The VR headset is still on the way and it will be much better then what we’ve seen so far. This is what Oculus had to say:

The Oculus Rift builds on the presence, immersion, and comfort of the Crescent Bay prototype with an improved tracking system that supports both seated and standing experiences, as well as a highly refined industrial design, and updated ergonomics for a more natural fit

Pre-orders for the Oculus Rift will open up later this year. Are you interested in VR? Will you be getting the Oculus Rift?
