Microsoft had some pretty big announcements during their conference today. One announcement stood out as the biggest. Native Backwards Compatibility for 360 games is coming to the Xbox One. You simply insert your disk and install. The service will also work with digital 360 games. Furthermore, you can use screenshots, DVR, and broadcasting with the backwards compatibility.
Unfortunately, the system requires developers and publishers to approve the games so not all games will work. However, there are over 100 scheduled games to work when backwards compatibility launches and there’s “hundreds more” scheduled for the future.
