The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was a successful sequel to the SNES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. In a surprise move today, during their Digital Event, Nintendo announced yet another handheld Zelda game.
This time it’s called The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes. It’s the first fully fledged multi-player Zelda to be releases since The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures on the GameCube. This game will allow you and two other friends to team up in multi-player Zelda action in a style similar to A Link Between Worlds. The development team talked about wanting to continue to use that depth feature of the 3DS to create new puzzles that required you to work with someone else to solve.
Of course, the game can be played single player. When you do that you control Link and he’ll be accompanied by two animated dolls. You can switch between the characters at any time to solve the game’s numerous puzzles.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes is set to launch for the 3DS this Fall.
