Xeodrifter Coming To Wii U Soon With Cross-buy

Xeodrifter 3Renegade Kid have confirmed that their Metroid-esque platformer Xeodrifter will be coming to Wii U soon. They submitted the game to Nintendo for lotcheck, which means release shouldn’t be that far off. What’s more exciting is that they’re continuing to show support for cross-buy games on Nintendo platforms as they announced details for people who purchase the game.

When it launches for Wii U it will cost you $9.99. Not only does that get you the Wii U release, but you’ll also get a copy of the game on 3DS. Current 3DS owners who already have a copy of the game will receive the Wii U version for free when it launches.

This goes along with their upcoming release of Mutant Mudds Super Challenge which will also be cross-buy when it launches later this year. This is something I can fully get behind and hope we see more developers doing in the future.
