Microsoft Skipping This Years Tokyo Game Show

MicrosoftTokyoGameShowMicrosoft has been gaining a lot of Steam lately. They’ve made a lot of the right moves and have really brought the Xbox brand back from a very bad position. That said, despite Microsoft making strides with the Xbox brand, the Xbox One sales in Japan have been on life support. Because of this, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that Microsoft won’t be at this years Tokyo Game Show. This doesn’t mean they won’t do anything at all though. According to Famitsu, Microsoft still has plans to get Xbox news to fans and the media.

2015 will continue to provide an attractive game line-up, exclusive titles included. This year, Microsoft will not exhibit the Tokyo Game Show, but we’re making various preparations to deliver the latest Xbox news to fans and media. We will provide an update as soon as we can.

Earlier this year, we learned that Sony won’t be attending Gamescom due to it being too close to E3. Microsoft, however, will be attending and will show off several of their key titles that weren’t at E3 such as Crackdown 3 and Scalebound.
