That’s right I’m afraid. Starfox Zero has been delayed into the first quarter of 2016. The decision to delay the antisipated Wii U exclusive was made last week. In a post on Nintendo’s official Facebook page Shingeru Miyamoto said the following “We have been developing Star Fox Zero for Wii U with the aim of releasing it this year,” he added “Although we felt that the development had been progressing well, we now believe that we will need a little more time to work on areas such as the unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens, and further polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cut scenes.”
Apparently it would technically be possible to release the game as planned on the 20th November butNintendo want to ensure that the product is at the highest possible standard. It’s a shame that we won’t be playing it for Christmas but I’m sure most Nintendo fans will agree that a delay to ensure a quality game is ok.
