Twilight Princess getting the HD treatment on Wii U has been a rumor that’s been going around for quite some time now. Well, as it turns out, it’s actually true. During the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is on the way.
It’s also getting it’s own Wolf Link Amiibo and it will be compatible with all other Legend of Zelda based Amiibo’s. Furthermore, the new Amiibo will be able to carry over data to Legend of Zelda Wii U when it releases. It’s also getting a bundle with the new Amiibo and a soundtrack if you pre-order. Twilight Princess HD, the Amiibo, and the bundle will be out March 4, 2016.
That isn’t the only Legend of Zelda news. Nintendo also reconfirmed that Legend of Zelda Wii U is coming out in 2016. To take it a step further, Tri Force Heroes is getting an update in the way of free DLC on December 2. It’ll add a new dungeon called Den of Trials that will have over 30+ stages. Furthermore, you and your team need to defeat every enemy in order to progress. They’re also adding in 2 new armor sets. The first is the Lineback Uniform which lets see what’s in chests before you open them. The second is the is the Fierce Diety Armor that allows you to do sword beams in 4 directions and increases your attack power.
Lastly, Hyrule Warriors Legends on 3DS received some news as well. They announced a new original character to go along with the previous mentioned characters of Skull Kid, Tetra, Toon Link, and the King of Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Named Linkel and obviously inspired by Link, she dual wields cross bows and has moves that are similar to Link. Check her out in the video below!
