Podcast

NintendPals are nearly 1 year old!

Yep, we’ve nearly been making the NintendPals podcast for one whole year and I wanted to take some time out to say a few things.

Firstly, thank you. Thank you to everyone who has listened to us over the last 12 months, thank you to everyone who has written into the show with questions or comments and thank you to Nintendo-Okie for bringing us under their umbrella and making us a part of their community. We’ve made a lot of great new friends over the last year and doing the show has meant that myself (Myles) and Nick have had an excuse to have a chat for a couple of hours every Tuesday which has been brilliant.

The show has gone through quite a few changes over the last 12 months whilst we found our way but now, 44 episodes in we seem to have hit our stride. We are always looking at how we can improve the show though and always welcome comments and criticisms from our listeners.

Nintendo itself has had a very up and down couple of years and things look to get ever more interesting with the NX looming on the horizon as well as the many internal changes the Big N has gone through over the last few months and me and Nick will be there to cover all of the news as it comes out. As always we can’t promise we’ll be there every week (having said that we’ve only missed about 7 episodes so far, not bad) but we’ll always make sure we cover the important stuff eventually.

So once again thank you to everyone: The Nintendo-Okie crew, The Gamesmen crew, Harley, Patrick, Tom (both of them), Leng, everyone who has listened to an episode and most of from me, thank to Nick for doing this with me!

I’ve inserted Episode 1 into the top of this post. It’s interesting to listen to how… awkward we sounded a year ago and to hear about what the Nintendo landscape was like at the time too.

And lastly, if we don’t see you: good afternoon, good evening and god night.

parting
