Wargroove Brings Fantasy Battles to Advance Wars Style Game Play

The third game being published by Chucklefish Games that was announced today was the one that I’m the most interested in. It’s called Wargroove and it looks like a combination of two very popular games from Intelligent Systems; Fire Emblem and Advance Wars.

The game features fantasy, turn-based battles, on grids similar to those of the Advance Wars games. You move units and then when they come into contact with each other they’ll face off against one another in short, animated battle sequences.

The game will also feature single-player and multi-player battles in both offline and online form. It will allow you to take up to 12 different armies into battle and even create custom battlefield maps that you can play on against other players.

No release date for the game has been announced, but it will launch on Switch later this year.
