A few days ago it was announced that the first game for Switch that would require the game to be played in portable mode was Voez, a visually beautiful rhythm game from developer Rayark. At the time it was only confirmed for Japan. Since then the game has been confirmed to be coming to North America and Europe as well.
The game will launch here in the US on March 9th for $24.99. The game was free to play on mobile, but on Switch you’ll have to pay $24.99. Just what do you get for that substantial cost? 116 songs, the full version of the game, and, according to publisher Circle Entertainments tweet, exclusive content. You don’t get that many songs included in many $60 retail games. I think it’s going to be well worth it. I played a little bit of the game on my table this week to see exactly what it was and I liked what I saw. Some really interesting mechanics are featured, such as moving note tracks, multiple note combos where you have to hold one finger down while tapping another part of the screen. It was fun.
