NBA Playgrounds has had a troubled history since its launch on Switch. The developers recently released an update that added online play, new shooting mechanics, and a shot meter among other things. Now the developers say that another update is coming very soon, and that includes Switch.
The new update called The Hot Update, which as of this writing, doesn’t have an official release window adds 33 new players to the roster of playable characters. The rebounding system, which isn’t always easy to understand is getting updated. It will now highlight the general area where the ball would land to better help you gauge where you should be when attempting rebounds. A new 3-point shooting contest will be added and you’ll finally be able to send invites to play to your friends.
They’ve released a trailer showing off some of the new features and they promise that Switch owners won’t have to wait forever for this update like they did the previous one.
