After being announced four years ago the long anticipated (?) sequel to Shaq-Fu finally has a release date. Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn will be available for download beginning June 5th on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game was announced and funded through an Indiegogo campaign back in March of 2014. Since that time the developer, Saber Interactive, has been working on this game as well as NBA Playgrounds.
Issues with development on the NBA game meant delays to Shaq-Fu. Because of those issues the developers announced that anyone that had purchased a copy of NBA Playgrounds on Nintendo Switch prior to June 10th, 2017 will receive a copy of Shaq-Fu for free. If you’re not in that group of people you can expect to drop $19.99 on the fighting game.
Also announced is a physical release of the game that will be available with unannounced DLC for $29.99. Nintendo Switch owners will have to shell out another $10 for the physical release.
If Tingle Shaq is not made available as a DLC costume at some point I am going to be very disappointed.
